KCC is on the verge of great loss after they have acquired great portion of Samsung C&T Corporation's share. KCC has purchased 8,990,000 Samsung C&T Corporation's treasury stocks, which is 75,000won per stock last November. But Samsung C&T Corporation's share continued to drop. The Samsung C&T Corporation's share was 64,300won by the 22nd of this month. There are questions being asked whether KCC management has purchased Samsung C&T Corporation's stock, at an excessively high price or not. 삼성측 백기사로 나선 KCC가 삼성물산 지분을 대량 취득한 이후 삼성물산의 주가가 하락세를 거듭하면서 애매한 상황에 처했다. KCC는 지난 11일 장외 블록딜로 삼성물산 자사주 899만주를 주당 7만5000원에 매입했다. 하지만 이후 삼성물산 주가는 하향세를 지속했다. 22일 종가 기준 삼성물산의 주가는 6만4300원이다. KCC 경영진이 지나치게 높은 금액으로 삼성물산 자사주를 매입한 것이 아니냐는 의문이 제기된다.

삼성물산과 제일모직의 합병이 성사됐을 경우 KCC가 매입한 삼성물산 주식이 본전을 찾으려면 통합법인의 주가는 21만4285원 이상이어야 한다.
