An administration for small businesses? or an administration for conglomerate?

It has been pointed out that the administration which was established for the purpose of supporting the small sized businesses is in fact helping large businesses violate small businesses' market area.

Han jung-hwa, the commissioner of the administration is recently an eyesore after participating in business agreement ceremony of a large business.

There are some criticisms arose about board members of the administration. Majority of them are from cooperative company of a large organization and, for this reason, it is assumed that those members are not being really supportive for small businesses.

Although many of small distribution dealers are forced out on the street due to the large businesses that are entering into the market, the solution that the administration gives is restructure of business.

Officials say that "The administration is not only for the small businesses. We have to take care of medium sized businesses as well as small sized businesses. 중소기업청? 재벌들러리청?

중소기업과 소상공인의 지원·육성을 위한 취지로 설립된 중소기업청이 대기업과 중견기업의 중소상권 침해에 앞장서고 있다는 지적이 제기되고 있다.

최근 한정화 청장은 일정을 바꿔가면서까지 대기업의 업무협약 체결식에 참석해 대기업청장이라는 눈총을 받았다. 특히 지난 2012년 설립된 중기청 중견기업정책국 산하 중견기업연합회의 임원들이 대기업 1차 협력사 소속으로 동반성장위원회 위원도 맡아 대기업의 동반성장위에 제 목소리를 내지 못하고 대기업과 관계를 유지하고 있다는 의혹도 일고 있다.

식자재 유통시장에 대기업들이 앞 다퉈 뛰어들며 중소유통업자들이 거리로 내몰리고 있지만 중기청이 내놓은 방안은 '사업조정신청'뿐이다.

중기청 관계자는 "중기청은 소상공인만을 위한 부처가 아니다. 중견기업은 물론 소상공인까지 모두 살펴야 한다. 우리는 항상 중견기업과 소상공인을 위해 노력하고 있다. 다만 인력부족 등의 문제로 모든 일을 처리하는 것에 시간이 걸릴 뿐"이라고 답했다./스피킹전문 EDB 영어회화학원 대표강사 닥터 벤
