It was claimed by the inspection of the administration that National pension corporation's decision on investment is going back and forth. 국민연금의 투자결정이 오락가락한다는 지적이 국회 국정감사과정에서 제기됐다. SK 합병이나 삼성물산과 제일모직의 합병, 홈플러스 인수참여 등 사안이 발생할 때마다 합리적 원칙이나 기준도 없이 임기응변으로 결정해 왔다는 것이다.

14일 열린 국회 정무위원회 국정감사에서 김기식(새정치민주연합)의원은 "국민연금이 SK합병에서는 전문위원회를 통해 반대의견을 내놨으면서도 삼성물산 합병에서는 투자위원회를 열어 찬성을 결정했다"고 지적했다.

실제로 국민연금은 지난 4월 SK와 SKC&C의 합병에 대해 반대의견을 내놨다. 그러나 지난 7월 삼성물산과 제일모직의 합병안에 대해서는 찬성의견을 던졌다. 국민연금공단은 삼성물산과 제일모직 합병의 타당성에 대한 논란이 가열될 즈음인 7월10일 합병에 찬성한다는 방침을 일찌감치 정했다. 이에 대해 삼성측은 해외투기자본으로부터 국내기업의 경영권을 방어해야 한다는 논리로 방어해 왔다. /스피킹전문 EDB 영어회화학원 대표강사 닥터 벤
