The conflict upon the bar exam and law school has reached its peak among lawyers. The conflict seems to continue because abolishing the bar exam was probably the main reason that Korean lawyer association and Korean law society submitted complaints due to some slander and the leakage of certain documents. The conflict among lawyers from bar exams and those of law schools is going all the way up to political area.

Legislation and Judiciary Committee has officially introduced a new bar exam based on the concept of maintaining the bar exam and, therefore, there is going to be disputes over political power.

According to the Korean Law Society on the 20th, Korean Lawyer Association submitted a complaint for the leakage of the documents that has something to do with retention of the bar exam investigation is ongoing. Lawyers from law schools, who are in Korean Lawyer Association, sued the netizens for the reputational damage. The complaints from the both sides are not targeting a specific person but it could mean a warning and there is tension still.

사시와 로스쿨 출신 변호사들 간의 신경전이 극으로 치닫고 있다. 대한변호사협회와 한국법조인협회가 각각 내부 문건 유출과 비방 등으로 경찰과 검찰에 고소장을 제출한 배경에 사시존폐가 있다는 점에서 논란은 당분간 계속될 것으로 보인다. 사시 출신과 로스쿨 출신 변호사 간의 대치는 정치권으로 번지는 등 격화되고 있다.

여기에 국회 법제사법위원회가 '사시 존치'를 골자로 하는 변호사 시험법 개정안을 정식으로 상정함에 따라 정치권의 세력다툼으로 번질 전망이다.

20일 법조계에 따르면 대한변호사협회는 '사시 존치'를 다룬 내부 문건 유출로 경찰에 고소장을 제출, 수사가 진행 중이다. 로스쿨 출신들의 단체인 한법협은 인터넷상에서 법학전문대학원(로스쿨) 출신 변호사들을 비방한 네티즌들을 명예훼손 혐의로 서울중앙지검에 고소장을 제출한 상태다. 양측이 제기한 고소가 상대를 향한 직접 겨냥은 아니지만 경고성으로 비춰질 수 있다는 점에서 긴장감이 감돌고 있다.
