Gold funds are receiving atttentions again since there is a continuous uncertainty about global financial market.

Because the rate of return for some other funds per month is about 6%.

The global financial market is planning to delay increasing interest rate with a week left before the Federal Open Market Committe that decides whether to increase the base interest rate. Chinese economy is also unstable. The economic growth rate of China is only 6.8% in the third quarter this year.

As the market becomes unstable, demands are formed in the belief that "The only thing that we can count on is gold".

The most common gold investment method for ordinary people is gold funds.

다시 뛰는 금값

글로벌 금융시장이 한치 앞을 내다볼 수 없는 불확실성이 지속되면서 금값이 오르자 금펀드가 다시 주목을 받고 있다. 일부 펀드의 경우 1개월 수익률이 6%를 웃돌고 있기 때문이다.

세계 금융시장은 기준금리 인상 여부를 결정하는 미국 연방공개시장위원회(FOMC)를 1주일 앞두고 금리 인상 지연에 무게를 두고 움직이고 있다. 중국 경제도 불안하다. 중국의 올해 3·4분기 경제성장률은 6.9%에 머물렀다.

시장이 불안해지자 '역시 믿을 것은 금뿐'이라는 수요가 형성되고 있다. 일반인이 할 수 있는 가장 보편적인 금 투자법은 단연 금펀드다. 보통 금값이 '금값'이 되는 시기는 △불확실성이 커지며 안전자산 선호현상이 부각될 때 △공급 대비 수요가 늘어날 때 △인플레이션 압박이 커질 때 △통화가치(통상 달러값)가 하락할 때 등이다.

22일 금융정보업체인 에프앤가이드에 따르면 설정액 10억원 이상 11개 금펀드의 1개월 수익률은 6.08%를 기록했다.
