Samsung Electronics takes a good aim at American market with its mobile payment system.

The company's plan is to increase the number of members of Samsung Pay and strive towards its universalization with extensive marketing so that they can lead the mobile payment market with America as the center.

According to the international press and the industry on the 3rd, Samsung Electronics is featuring an event that gives free gifts to the new members of Samsung Pay.

Samsung Electronics is providing a wireless charging pad or $50 (about fifty seven thousand won) of rebate to the people who join the Samsung Pay by the 8th. This event provides gifts when the new members download Samsung Pay Application and register either credit or debit card to it.

After the launch of Samsung Pay, the company had only been providing gifts to the people who bought new mobile devices such as Galaxy Note 5 or Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. However, the company tried to increase the number of members who would receive the gifts by adding the people who have Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.

삼성전자가 모바일 결제 서비스 삼성페이로 미국 시장 정조준에 나선다.

대대적인 마케팅으로 삼성페이 가입자를 늘리고 범용성을 높여 미국을 중심으로 글로벌 모바일 결제시장을 선도하겠다는 계획이다. 3일 외신과 업계에 따르면 삼성전자는 미국에서 삼성페이 가입자에게 사은품을 증정하는 행사를 실시하고 있다.

삼성전자는 미국 버라이즌을 통해 오는 8일까지 삼성페이를 가입하는 사람들에게 무선충전 패드나 50달러(약 5만7000원) 상당의 리베이트를 제공한다. 이 행사는 삼성페이 앱을 설치하고 신용카드나 직불카드 중 하나를 등록하면 받을 수 있다.

삼성전자는 삼성페이 출시 이후 신제품인 갤럭시노트5 또는 갤럭시S6엣지플러스를 구매한 삼성페이 사용자들에게만 사은품을 증정했다. 하지만 이번에 대상을 기존의 갤럭시S6과 갤럭시S6엣지 사용자들까지 확대해 사용자 확대를 노렸다.
