비트코인이 도널드 트럼프 대통령이 "가상자산 전쟁을 종식했다"고 발언한 것을 호재로 연일 상승세를 이어가며 1억4500만원대를 회복했다. 21일 오전 8시30분 기준 비트코인은 국내 가상자산 거래소 빗썸에서 24시간 전보다 1.16% 오른 1억4568만원을 기록했다. 같은 시각 업비트에서는 1.07% 상승한 1억4584만원에 거래됐다. 가상자산 시황 중계 사이트 코인마켓캡에서는 24시간 전보다 1.87% 뛴 9만8410달러를 나타냈다.시가총액(시총) 2위 이더리움은 횡보세를 나타냈다. 같은 시각 이더리움은 빗썸에서 0.32% 오른 406만원을, 업비트에서는 0.20% 상승한 406만원을 기록했다. 코인마켓캡에서는 0.89% 뛴 2743달러에 거래됐다.알트코인 중에서는 레이어1 코인 세이가 10%대 강세를 보였다. 같은 시각 세이는 코인마켓캡에서 15.2% 상승했다. 이는 트럼프 일가가 주도하는 가상자산 프로젝트 월드 리버티 파이낸셜(WLFI)이 전날 세이 110만개(3억5800만원 규모)를 매입했다는 소식이 전해지면서 매수세가 유입된 영향으로 풀이된다.비트코인의 국내외 가격 차이를 뜻하는 김치프리미엄은 3%대로 폭을 줄였다. 글로벌 가상자산 시황 비교 플랫폼 크라이프라이스에 따르면 이날 오전 8시45분 기준 비트코인 김치프리미엄은 3.30%다. 이날 시장은 트럼프 발언에 주목했다. 최근 추가 악재가 나오지 않으면서 시장 관망세가 지속되는 가운데 트럼프가 가상자산 시장에 긍정적 영향을 미칠 수 있는 발언을 한 것이다. 트리뉴스에 따르면 트럼프는 20일(현지시간) "바이든 행정부와의 가상자산 전쟁을 끝냈다"고 밝혔다. 이 가운데 미국 20여개 주 의원들이 비트코인 준비금 조성, 가상자산 수용 법안들을 추진하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그 중 법안 추진 속도가 가장 빠른 곳은 애리조나로 알려졌다. 이어 유타와 오하이오, 앨라배마, 텍사스 등도 처리에 속도를 내고 있는 것으로 전해졌다.
